Terms and Conditions

Applicability

This agreement is between betterACTnow and you, purchaser of one or more betterACTnow videos. These terms apply to all subscriptions purchased after 31 December 2008. We reserve the right to change these terms and to make improvements to our website and videos when needed to improve the service we provide. When changes are made they will apply from the time they are published on this site.

What you get for your money

You get the right to download the video(s) you have purchased and to use them yourself. Downloaded videos are not to be copied or transferred to other computers.

betterACTnow also provides customers with email support via the address on our website.

What you pay

You pay the prices displayed on our website, minus any Partner code discount and/or bulk discount, plus tax if applicable (currently tax only applies for UK based subscribers). Partner code discount is currently 15% and applies for all orders that include a Partner code. Bulk discount applies when a full suite is purchased during a single transaction. Partner and bulk discounts are cumulative, so for example the price of a full suite of videos ordered in a single transaction with a Partner code would be $190*85%*90% = $145.35. The final price for each transaction is clearly displayed on the card payment screen.

Your obligations

You must not record, copy or distribute betterACTnow videos in any format.

Service continuity and quality

We strive to provide continuous access to our website and videos and we use resilient, industry strength web servers to deliver our services to you. However, even the best technology isn't perfect and there may be occasions where service is affected by technical problems beyond our control. If such cases arise we will use all of the resources available to restore normal service as soon as possible. If we need to perform essential maintenance we will keep any service interruptions to a minimum. We are committed to delivering the best service possible, but we hope you will understand that we can accept no liability if service is affected by events beyond our control.

Liability disclaimer

We are confident that all of the information in our training videos is accurate. However, we accept no liability for any losses or damages that may arise from improper use of ACT!

Privacy

We use GlobalSign to protect your passwords, and your credit card details are also encrypted. Credit card details are not stored by us or our payment services provider but are used by our bank to complete each transaction.

If you decide to register with a Partner code in order to get the 15% discount, we'll pass your company name and the total value of your orders to the relevant Partner so that they can keep track of all transactions made using their code. All Partners are obliged to keep this information securely and never to pass it to a third party or use it for any purpose other than that stated above. We will not pass any other information to the Partner.
